![]() At the end of the day, I just want something that I can buy, maybe get CLA done if need be, and start shooting, kind of like a point-and-shoot. Even with a good medium format camera, I will still use 35mm cameras more often and I already have somewhat of a system for my Nikon F3. ![]() Don't need a system camera with multiple backs, lenses, etc. My requirements are that I am looking for something for casual landscape/generalist usage. So is that the case for every medium format camera out there? To me, it feels like I am having a difficult time figuring out which factors matter to me and which don't. ![]() Yashica Mat 124G - overpriced, plastic build, etc. Rolleicord III - bad Triotar lens, dim waist level finder, etc. Mamiya 645E - made in China, poor quality control, etc. Mamiya 645 Super/Pro - prone to breakage of internal plastic parts Mamiya RB67 - light leaks, bad dark slide mechanism, accidental double exposures, etc. Following is a brief taste of sentiments that have kept me from pulling the trigger on anything: This is in contrast to 35mm cameras, where I feel people seem to have a consensus on some cameras that are no-brainers. Produced from 195566, the Autocord came in a number of variants. Recently I have been trying to get into medium format cameras but there seem to be some very strong, polarizing opinions about pretty much most affordable options out there (I am excluding Hasselblads, Mamiya RZ67, etc from the discussion). The Minolta Autocord is a fully-mechanical twin-lens reflex camera which takes 6×6 photos on medium-format film.
